Das fand ich heute als Zitat in einer Mail der »schnellerwandel-liste«.
Die oft zitierte Metapher vom halbvoll- oder halbleeren Glas erweitert um einen systemisch-prozessorientierten Aspekt:
The optimist looks at the glass and says it is half full. The pessimist
says it is half empty. The AI practitioner looks at it and says, » I wonder how
it got half full? Because if we could figure that out, we could get it all
the way full!«

Muss immer alles voll werden ? Man kann auch fragen: wie ist es halb leer geworden ?
Und wenn das beantwortet ist, dann lässt sich das Glas leicht auch gänzlich leeren:
für vielleicht gänzlich neuen Inhalt, oder aber um leer zu bleiben, damit der bisherige Inhalt endlich ganz verschwunden und erledigt ist und bleibt.
